I have an   INTERACTIONAL   view of problem formation and resolution

I qualified as a clinical psychologist in 1987 at the RAU (now known as UJ).  I have subsequently attended many courses and obtained other qualifications, including a PhD from Rhodes university and a Diploma in Integrative psychotherapy from Sherwood University in the UK.

 My PhD was written and awarded on my Integrative approach to therapy which I have called   
" RELATIONAL REVOLUTIONS ". 

This approach acknowledges systems theory and the notion that all levels of human existence are uniquely and complexly related to each other in a way that spans generations and ultimately re-informs our genetic codes.

It also acknowledges a psychodynamic view of development which holds that our development depends not only on our inherited physiology but is intimately influenced by early learning in relationships from the moment of conception onwards.

I believe that - past is prologue - and that our past informs the present in ever-revolving spirals.  Therapy can change these spirals, fostering positive development and revolutionising patterns changing negative ways of relating to the world. Over the years I have evolved and revolved my approach to therapy, increased my repertoire and broadened the range of therapeutic techniques that I have at my disposal. As I expanded my approach I have also a published a chapter* entitled
